Persistent or throbbing tooth pain that is affecting your day โ especially if accompanied by swelling, fever or sensitivity to hot and cold โ needs urgent attention.

Dental trauma requires prompt treatment. A knocked-out tooth in particular must be attended to within 30โ60 minutes for the best chance of saving it.

What counts as a dental emergency?
Any situation causing severe pain, swelling, bleeding, dental trauma (broken or knocked-out teeth), a lost restoration exposing the tooth, or a suspected dental abscess should be treated as an emergency.
My tooth has been knocked out โ what should I do?
Keep the tooth moist โ place it back in the socket if possible, hold it in your cheek, or keep it in milk. Call us immediately. Time is critical: the best chance of saving a knocked-out tooth is within 30โ60 minutes.
